Location and Transportation

HOW FAR IS THE CENTER FROM THE AIRPORT?

About 90 minutes by car.

DO YOU INCLUDE FREE AIRPORT TRANSFERS?

Yes, we have an airport shuttle that will leave PVR airport at 3:30PM on your arrival day and leave the center at 10:00AM on your departure day.

WHAT IS THE BEST TIME FOR FLIGHTS TO ARRIVE/DEPART FROM PVR?

Our free airport transfer leaves PVR airport at 3:30PM on arrival day and leaves the retreat villa at 10:00AM on departure day. Flights that arrive and depart at around 2:30PM are ideal.

IS THE AREA SAFE?

San Pancho is a quiet hippy surf town, it is very safe. The retreat takes place on a gated property 10 minutes from San Pancho. The Bay of Banderas is recognized as one of the safest places in Mexico, it receives 8 million visitors, mostly from the US and Canada, who visit every year and a huge expat community that prefer to live here.

WHAT IS THE LOCATION LIKE?

The retreat is located on an 80-acre property 5km from the town of San Francisco, Nayarit (San Pancho). The property is filled with virgin jungle and has a semi-private beach. The ocean is open-water, generally the waves are small and it is easy to swim with a sandy entrance; sometimes the currents can be strong and swimmers must be cautious. Accommodation is in jungle cabins overlooking the ocean, a 15 minute walk from the beach. It is immersion in nature so don’t expect 5 star luxury, rather, basic but comfortable accommodation and a very unique experience. We are in the jungle so there are bugs, wildlife, uneven terrain and possible power cuts. Access is via a beautiful jungle road that requires an ATV.

Check-in and Check-out

WHEN IS CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT?

Check-in is 3 pm. Check-out is 11 am.

MY FLIGHT ARRIVES LATE AT NIGHT. CAN I STILL CHECK IN?

You can check in up until 8 pm.

MY FLIGHT DOESN'T LEAVE UNTIL THE EVENING. CAN I HAVE LATE CHECK-OUT?

Most probably, just check with us in advance.

CAN I CHECK-IN/OUT A DAY EARLIER/LATER?

We are not able to accommodate guests outside of the retreat dates.

Schedule and Activities

IS THE SCHEDULE FIXED?

Yes, we provide meals, classes and adventures on a fixed schedule. Everything is optional.

CAN I LEAVE THE CENTER?

Yes, you can. However we can’t guarantee that we can help you leave the property which requires an ATV vehicle.

WHAT ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES CAN I DO?

There is an abundance of activities available some examples include; ziplining, scuba diving, swim with wild dolphins, horseback riding and spa days. Just ask us.

Food and Beverage

IS ALCOHOL PERMITTED?

For your safety, we have a zero drug and alcohol tolerance policy. Use of alcohol or drugs on-site or off-site is grounds for removal from the retreat.

I LIKE TO EAT MEAT. DO YOU HAVE SOMETHING FOR ME?

Yes, our menu was designed by a Functional Nutritionist to be balanced in protein, fat, carbs, vitamins and minerals, which includes animal protein. It is based on a Paleo style diet.

I AM VEGAN/VEGETARIAN/HAVE ALLERGIES OR INTOLERANCES, CAN THE MENU BE ADAPTED?

Our program isn’t ideally suited for vegans and vegetarians because we rule out a lot of inflammatory and gut-irritating foods which then makes a vegan or vegetarian diet too restrictive. We can’t create personalized meal plans for guests. All food is served buffet style so guests can pick and choose what they want.

ARE THERE BUGS AND MOSQUITOES?

We are in the jungle so there are bugs. Mosquitos and bugs are manageable most of the year with a peak in July through October. We do the best we can to reduce the impact of bugs naturally.

Beaches

HOW FAR AWAY IS THE BEACH?

There is a semi-private beach on the property, a 15 minute walk from the accommodation. Also walkable from the property is Playa del Barro (Clay Beach) where you can put the high mineral content clay on your skin and then wash it off in the ocean and Punta Monterrey - possibly the most beautiful beach in the area. There are an abundance of beaches in and around San Pancho. We will explore a few on our adventures off-site.

IS THE OCEAN WARM ENOUGH TO SWIM?

Yes. The water is usually low 70s in the winer and mid-80s in the summer.

IS THE BEACH SANDY OR ROCKY?

Both. There are stunning rock formations among sandy beaches and turquoise water. The entrance to the beach is sandy so it is very easy to swim.

IS THERE SURF?

There isn’t a surf break within the property but there are surf spots nearby with board rental available.

Internet and Communication

DO YOU PROVIDE WIFI?

Yes. We have wifi that is reliable most of the time. We are in the jungle so the connection can cut.

CAN I GET CELL RECEPTION?

Not on the property but we can help you dial out through wifi if necessary.

I WON'T BE BRINGING MY CELL. CAN I CALL US/CANADA FROM THE VILLA?

Yes. We can help you call home.

Misc.

CAN I DO LAUNDRY ON THE RETREAT?

We do not have laundry service on the retreat.

IS COVID TESTING AVAILABLE?

Antigen testing can be done at the airport before your flight with results in 40mins for USD$25. PCR and Antigen testing can be done in San Pancho, prices can change at the moment the cost is USD$150 for PCR and USD$60.

IS A COVID VACCINE REQUIRED TO ENTER MEXICO?

IS THIS PROGRAM SUITABLE FOR ME?

Our programs focus on nervous system regulation which can be helpful for depression and anxiety. We can’t guarantee any particular outcome, we are not a medical nor mental health clinic. I NEED TO SCHEDULE MEETINGS DURING THE PROGRAM, CAN I GET MY RETREAT SCHEDULE AHEAD OF TIME?

Yes, we can provide you with your schedule. We reconfirm all activities shortly before the retreat start date so there could be some changes to the line-up.

IS THE SCHEDULE FLEXIBLE?

Our schedule is fixed but you can opt out of any activity.

CAN I ADD MORE OF A PARTICULAR MODALITY?

During our 5 day program it is possible to add in private sessions with Dr. Aaron. There isn’t much free time so we advise adding an extra day in San Pancho for integration if you would like additional services.

CAN I EXTEND THE PROGRAM?

We can’t extend the program but you can add in additional days in San Pancho or Sayulita at alternative accommodation. We offer a 21 day program at our Sayulita location: https://www.reprecisionhealth.com/reset

DO WE SPEND TIME IN SAN PANCHO ON THE RETREAT?

We do not. The retreat is focussed on our program which is an introduction to nervous system regulation. We do not leave the property during the retreat except for a hike to the neighboring clay beach. You can add an extra day (or more) with accommodation in San Pancho to explore the lovely town and integrate your experience.

CAN I BRING MY DOG/PET?

Sadly, we can't allow dogs or pets on our retreats because if we make one exception we could end up with 13+ dogs per retreat. We love animals but some guests are not comfortable around them.

Reservations, Cancellations and Payments

WHAT HAPPENS IF I NEED TO CANCEL?

We have a no refund policy but we can exchange your spot if we can find someone interested in taking your place. For this reason we highly encourage the purchase of trip protection.
