The Rēset Intensive is a 5 day introduction to tools for nervous system regulation to improve physical and mental wellbeing.

The nervous system is the connection between the mind and body. When it is dysregulated (due to previous life experiences), our sleep, hormones, digestion, cognitive function, reactivity, performance and more are affected. We can’t separate mind and body, in fact trying to separate the mind from the body and even separating each of the parts of the body from each other led to a lot of frustration with the current medical system and the impetus for starting this program.

The program takes a systems approach to reversing the sympathetic dominant state (chronic activation of the flight/flight/freeze/fawn response) by addressing the physical, mental, emotional, nutritional and existential factors that affect the nervous system.

The multi-model program includes:

SYMPATHETIC DOMINANCE PROTOCOL

Workshops, demonstrations and a tune up focussed on addressing the effects chronically activated sympathetic nervous system.

HEART RATE VARIABILITY (HRV) TRAINING
Up-train the parasympathetic state to lower the baseline of stress, reduce overwhelm and enhance recovery and emotional regulation.

NUTRITIONAL THERAPY

A diet and supplement protocol designed to reduce inflammation, reverse deficiencies and boost neurotransmitter production.

COLD THERMOGENESIS

Nervous system regulation training and helps to reduce inflammation, boost metabolism and improve immune function.

PHOTOBIOMODULATION

Red light and Near Infrared Light of specific wavelengths interact with the mitochondria to boost ATP production (more energy).

INTRO TO NEUROMEDITATION WORKSHOP

An Introduction to the concepts used in QEEG Brain Mapping, Neurofeedback, and Neuromeditation in a workshop format.

BREATHWORK

Breathwork can elicit the parasympathetic nervous system response and, in some cases, euphoric or insightful experiences.

TRAUMA RELEASE EXERCISES (TRE)
Restore the body’s natural mechanism for releasing deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and trauma.

TEMAZCAL

An ancient Mesoamerican ritual using heat, steam, herbs and chanting for purification of the mind and body.

YOGA & WORKING-IN

We work-in by syncing our movements to our own natural, relaxed, breathing pattern. We maintain the same breathing rate, the same heart rate, and the same body temperature throughout the practice.

NATURE THERAPY

The healing effects of nature; grounding and negative ions from waterfalls, beaches, jungle with low-impact, endurance exercise.

PEMF & INFRARED

Muscle relaxation, improved circulation and ion transportation to stimulate the body’s natural recovery process.

FUNCTIONAL MOVEMENT

With resistance to improve muscle tone and coordination, mitochondrial function and neurotransmitter production.

WORKSHOPS

Daily educational workshops covering a range of topics.

BODYWORK

Boost parasympathetic response, reduce tension, improve circulation and lymphatic drainage.

The Location

The center is located on the south side of Sayulita (Mexico) - a popular surf town. Accommodation is in a hill-top villa with 360 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, Sierra Madre mountains and lush jungle. Immersion in nature, daily sunshine and a distinct change in environment enhance the effectiveness of the program. The development is gated with 24 hour security.

The is a large infinity saltwater pool, gym, large terrace and other amenities.

Winding jungle paths provide a beautiful walk to Sayulita. A virgin beach is a 10 minute walk away.

Access is very easy, 80 minutes from Puerto Vallarta airport (PVR) with flights from most major US and Canadian cities.
We provide complimentary shuttles at 2 pm on Arrival Day and 11 am on Departure Day.
